Perhaps you’ve heard a lot about dolphin and had one occasion or two seeing them performing in safari or marine park. But if you really want to see them wandering around its natural habitat carefree, Lovina Beach in north Bali has something for you. The Dolphin sightseeing tour will be followed by a visit to Banjar Hot Spring where you can soak yourselves and relax your muscles in the natural, ancient public bath. Afterwards, we will attend a local Buddhist monastery nearby where you will be amazed by the viewpoint and calm atmosphere.

1.Dolphin Sightseeing at Lovina Beach

Lovina is the most popular beach in northern side of Bali and also known to have the best dolphin sightseeing spot in the entire island. The best time is in early morning when dolphins are out seeking foods and can be seen jumping freely offshore. You will get aboard a traditional outrigger boat and watch them closely within meters.

2.Banjar Hot Spring

It is the most popular relaxation pool in the northern side of Bali where locals and foreign tourists enjoy having a long soak. It is also believed to have healing power, particularly to cure skin disease. The aesthetic elements are far from modern days, distancing itself from other hot spring facilities around Bali.

3.Vihara Buddha Banjar

Officially known as Brahmavihara-Arama, this Buddhist temple is located in a high ground close to Lovina Beach in north Bali. The complex provides a calm and relaxing atmosphere for meditation and offers a breathtaking perspective towards North Bali Sea and the surrounding rice paddies. Here you will also see a minified version of Borobudur, the largest Buddhist temple in world actually located in Central Java. On the outer side, the architecture of Brahmavihara-Arama is largely influenced by Balinese Hindu style – a mark of peaceful co-existence between the two Dharmic faiths in the Island of Gods.

Built in 1633, Ulun Danu Temple stands majestically at the edge of Lake Beratan. East Area Tour Nusa Penida https://www.sewamobilbali.info/east-area-tour-nusa-penida/ Wed, 10 Oct 2018 06:51:39 +0000 https://sewamobilbali.info/?p=193

Nusa Penida is a secluded island located southeast of Bali. The tourism infrastructure is not yet overly developed on this island. However, here at Penida Tours, we strive to offer tours of Nusa Penida which will showcase the natural beauty and culture of the island. Our tours are conducted in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. We travel lightly, reducing our impact on the land and maintaining harmonious relationsips with the locals of Nusa Penida.

1. Atuh Beach

Atuh Beach, or Pantai Atuh, is a hidden beach on the remote south-eastern coast of Nusa Penida island. The beach is secluded by magnificent green cliffs, while various limestone rock formations surround it, adding to the beauty of the area. The white sand beach itself is accessible via a purpose-built stairway, or you can try the narrow tracks along a rugged cliff face if you’re feeling adventurous. The beach is great for relaxing with a spectacular view. However, the waters aren’t always swimmable.

2. Thousand Island (Pulau Seribu)

Thousand Island (Pulau Seribu) Viewpoint is located on the east coast of Nusa Penida Island. The viewpoint is one of the attractions on the island and looks along the beautiful coast of Nusa Penida. It’s not far from the famous Atuh Beach and it could be a good idea to combine these two spots into one day!

3. Tree House (Rumah Pohon) Melonteng

Rumah Pohon Molenteng, or the Nusa Penida Treehouse, is one of the most noticeable accommodations on the island. So we had to swing by and visit the magical place we’d seen online. It’s fair to say Rumah Pohon Treehouse is definitely one of the most random yet beautiful spots we’ve come across on our travels.

4.  Teletubbies Hill

The name Teletubbies’ Hills is given spontaneously by the visiting tourists, it is merely because of the similarity of its location with the residence of the Teletubbies in television show. As you can see, the mound of the green hills adorning the hills and the close distance between the hills that form semicircle. Even though the hills are made up of limestone, but there is a layer thin of soil so that the grass may grow on it giving the beautiful green nuance in Teletubbies’ Hills.

West Area Tour Nusa Penida https://www.sewamobilbali.info/west-area-tour-nusa-penida/ Wed, 10 Oct 2018 05:55:45 +0000 https://sewamobilbali.info/?p=187

1. Angel’s Billabong

Angel’s Billabong is a spectacular rock formation on Nusa Penida island’s southwestern cliff edges. It’s nearby Pasih Uug (Broken Beach), another popular site with unique limestone formations. The naturally formed rock lagoon offers a scenic seascape. You can descend into its crystal-clear rock pools for a swim or a soak, but only during low tide. The rock pools are one of the must-sees for visitors to Nusa Penida. The island itself is famous for its beautiful cliffs and pristine coastlines. Both Angel’s Billabong and Broken Beach are very popular sites here. However, you’ll most likely have this amazing natural infinity pool all to yourself on your visit

2. Broken Beach (Pasih Uug)

Broken Beach (Pasih Uug) is a scenic coastal formation on the southwestern edge of Nusa Penida island. The spot is marked by a hilly arch-like rock formation, which is the distinguishable landmark of the area. Set over the crashing waves of the open Indian Ocean, Broken Beach is a great spot for travel photographers and panoramic view seekers. The adjacent area is also home to grey long-tailed macaques. If you’re lucky, you may spot silhouettes of giant mantas near the surface of the deep blue water.

3. Klingking Beach

Kelingking Beach is a hidden beach in the village of Bunga Mekar, on the southwestern coast of Nusa Penida island. You can enjoy one of the most breath-taking views over the hills and small strip of white sand from atop a hill of the same name. The sight features a limestone headland covered in green, against the deep blue waters of the open Indian Ocean. This unique formation is reminiscent of a Tyrannosaurus Rex head, hence its nickname ‘T-Rex Bay’. The secluded beach itself is down a rugged 400m cliffside hike. This is recommended only for the fit and adventurous

4.  Crystal Bay

Crystal Bay is the name of a secluded cove with a 200-metre stretch of sand on the west coast of Nusa Penida Island. Despite its isolation, the bay is quite accessible thanks to well-developed roads. Besides its beautiful palm-fringed beach, the bay is best known as one of Nusa Penida’s famous snorkelling and dive sites. Near the shore, the waves are swimmable during calmer tides with crystal-clear waters, hence its name. Divers praise the superb visibility, sometimes down to 30 metres.

Bali Trip Driver present you the opportunity to explore central and southwest Bali regions, renowned for its natural and cultural blend. In this tour, you will visit three most prestigious and sacred temples in the area along with a visit to the Jatiluwih Rice Terrace – a newly introduced large-scale rice paddies – and get a taste of various coffee and tea types at Balinese Coffee Plantation.

1.Taman Ayun Temple

Literally translates as ‘Beautiful Garden,’ Taman Ayun was the royal temple of then Mengwi Kingdom, located strategically in Trans-Bali roadway in north Badung. It has a large courtyard surrounded by wide moat which can only be entered through a bridge leading into the passage gate. Apart from its religious purpose, the temple was built with the intention of being a place of tranquility, hence the big lawn and peripheral orchids.

2.Luwak Coffee Plantation

Dubbed as the priciest coffee in the world, Luwak coffee (also called civet coffee) has drawn interests from coffee aficionados around the world. Here you’ll be shown the traditional process of coffee-making and interesting information about how the civet cats eat the coffee and poop the beans out undigested. You will have the chance to sample a tasteful cup of Luwak coffee (totally hygiene) as well as 5 cups of different coffee varieties and 5 cups of teas (total 11 cups) for free.

3.Ulun Danu Beratan Temple

Built in 1633, Ulun Danu Temple stands majestically at the edge of Lake Beratan. The temple is where the Balinese present their offerings to the Balinese water, lake and river Goddess Danu, due to the importance of the lake as a main source of irrigation in central Bali. As a water temple, Pura Ulun Danu Bratan presents stunning highland and lakeside scenery. Additionally, you may rent an outrigger, paddle or motor boat to roll around the lake.

4.Jatiluwih Rice Terrace

This is the newer version of Tegalalang Rice Terrace with less dense crowds and much broader rice fields. Jatiluwih Rice Terrace is located in the middle-west of Bali, 700 meters above the sea level and close to Mount Batukaru. Spanning over acres of fertile lands, these gently sloping terraces will give you the whole new definition of greeneries.

5.Tanah Lot Temple

This temple is hands-down one of the most popular destinations in Bali and renowned among the tourists as the most popular spot for overlooking sunset towards Indian Ocean. The temple, sitting on the top of an offshore cliff, appears to be floating in the occasion of high tides. Tanah Lot Temple also holds a status of high spiritual importance as one of the most revered Balinese Hindu temples, and tourists will occasionally see the locals holding religious ceremonies and organizing dance performances around the temple.

The landmark – a giant statue of Lord Vishnu riding the mythical bird Garuda – is currently undergoing development phase and will stand out tremendously at 120 meters tall when finished.

2.Padang-padang Beach

Isolated by shady hills and rugged limestone cliffs, the Padang Padang Beach has earned a place in pro surfers’ heart. Although offering less than ideal entry point compared to other famous beaches in southern Bali, the secluded beaching experience will rightfully ensure none of your effort go waste.

3.Uluwatu Temple

One of the most revered temples in Balinese Hinduism where the locals worship the Almighty God in His manifestation as Lord Rudra. Uluwatu Temple is also renowned for its outstanding location being atop 97-meter cliff which provides extraordinary view to Indian Ocean. Those who are keen for swimming and surfing may go down to Pecatu beach located just beneath the temple. Along with Tanah Lot, Uluwatu has long become tourist-favorite for sunset delights.

4.Kecak & Fire Dance

To add to its important spiritual status and beauty, at Uluwatu Temple the visitors also have the chance to watch Kecak and fire dance performance organized before night. You will be sitting at the theatre seat witnessing both the dance performance and the panoramic sunset towards Indian ocean.

5.Seafood Dinner at Jimbaran

Jimbaran Bay provides a perfect spot to wrap up your day after tirelessly moving along the southern coastal beaches in Bali. You will have the opportunity to savor seafood dinner – freshly sourced from local fishermen – while overlooking the sunset at the Indian Ocean by sitting around the white sand.

Ubud & Kintamani Tour https://www.sewamobilbali.info/kintamani-tour/ Wed, 10 Oct 2018 03:05:54 +0000 https://sewamobilbali.info/?p=142

Kintamani, regarded as one of the coldest areas in Bali, is long known as the best place to enjoy high-altitude sightseeing across the island. We will start early by enjoying some cultural excursions at the south near Ubud and work our way up to the north where you will witness Mount and Lake Batur while enjoying delicious lunch before going downhill again to return home.

1. Barong and Keris Dance

Balinese mythology is often illustrated through dance and Barong and Keris dance is one of them. This is a classic mythical story about good against evil which provides a fascinating insight into the local culture. Good is personified by the Barong Keket, the holiest form of all Barong, representing good spirit which protects all villages and forests in Bali. The character appears to be a fusion between a shaggy dog and a lion which usually animated by two men. While evil is represented by Rangda, a witch who was condemned for practicing black magic.

Ultimately, the two characters engage in a battle, at which point the Barong’s Kris knife-bearing followers rush in to attack Rangda. The witch, however, uses her immense magical powers to turn the Keris knives in upon their owners, who then fall into the state of trance and start stabbing themselves. Barong then casts a spell to shield his followers from the blow. In the end, Barong triumphs and Rangda retreats to recuperate her strength for the next encounter in a never-ending battle between good and evil.

2. Celuk Village

Celuk Village is small community in the southern Ubud area known for it’s silverware industry. There are plenty of galleries to visit where you can directly observe the process of making the silvers and golds at the hands of the local artists.

3. Batuan Village

Batuan village is famous for its traditional painting art, although recently they have developed into Balinese dance art centre as well. You will see a lot of painting being sold on the street as we step into the village. However, if you are curious about how far the painting quality can go, take the chance to visit their official gallery.

4. Batuan Temple

The Batuan Temple is considered to be the oldest Puseh temple in the island – a place to worship Lord Vishnu the Caretaker in the Three Nirvanas concept taught to the Balinese nearly a millennium ago. Its archaic ornaments, especially on the entrance gate and the meeting hall; contributes to the interests of many tourists. Visitors could also learn about wide array of ancient sculptures and stones at the backyard of the temple complex.

5. Kintamani Village

Kintamani is regarded to have the coolest temperature in Bali to the opposite of the main tourist areas in the south. This popular destination is the most ideal spot for Mount Batur sightseeing where you’ll be able to witness the liquid magma and perceive the serenity of Lake Batur afar. The stunning surroundings will also increase your appetite for lunch as restaurants here are known for offering direct view to the mountain.

6.Bali Coffee Plantation

Dubbed as the priciest coffee in the world, Luwak coffee (also called civet coffee) has drawn interests from coffee aficionados around the world. Here you’ll be shown the traditional process of coffee-making and interesting information about how the civet cats eat the coffee and poop the beans out undigested. 7.Tirta Empul (Holy Spring Temple)

Located at 700 meters above sea level, the holy spring complex of Tirta Empul Temple allows everyone to breathe cool and calming air. It is believed that Lord Indra, one of highest deities in Hinduism built this place with healing purpose when he waged a war against an evil king.

In this place, local Balinese and tourists alike spend their time contemplating and purifying their body and soul. We recommend you to spend some times strolling around the outside section of the temple before or after taking a dip in the pool. Sarong is already included in this package.
